This is perhaps the best rifle I've ever shot. The action is smooth and easy, the trigger is crisp, and it's overall a joy to shoot. The Skinner/peep sights were dead on at 25 meters, right out of the box. Some reported the rifle shoots high; this will happen at longer distances unless the sights are adjusted, which is a 30 second job with the supplied tools and instructions. I do wish the front sight bead was easier to see. I'll put some red nail polish over the brass bead.\r \r I was concerned that the octagon barrel would be too heavy; I'm glad I got it. The extra weight helps steady the rifle while cycling and holds it on target. Shooting a full magazine in quick succession (<10 seconds), it's easy to shoot a group inside a silver dollar at 25 yards. Taking my time, I can get all my shots inside a nickel...and I'm not a very good shot.
