The HK MR556A1 is a commercial carbine directly descended from the HK416 lineage, built around the HK short-stroke gas piston system. It provides dependable, controlled cycling with exhaust gases kept out of the receiver for cleaner operation, especially in harsh conditions. This MR556A1 configuration pairs a cold hammer-forged 16.5 in barrel with a 1 in 7 in twist and includes TROY micro iron sights and a 6-position MAGPUL CTR stock in Flat Dark Earth.

This rifle is amazing...
This rifle is amazing my third mr556. You get what you pay for plus it's a limited edition so it will hold its value nicely. Can't get the mr223 or mr308 in ral. This fde with the burnt bronze buffer tube is gorgeous. Pictures don't do it justice looks much better in person.
