Very well made heavy...
Very well made heavy barreled rifle...the kind I really like. The bluing is not as deep and rich as, say, any Ruger from the 70's & 80's, but these are meant to be used outdoors and not stashed away in a safe to look at with your friends from time to time. The fit and finish on my example was as good as it gets, and the Hogue stock is very comfortable and feels good. I will enjoy shooting and using this rifle for as long as I am able. I don't think anybody can go wrong buying a Howa, as the Japanese are skilled craftsmen and the prices for the different models are very, very competitive.
