The Howa 1500 Mini Action is a compact bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm. Its 20-inch cold hammer forged heavy barrel is threaded for compatible muzzle devices and suppressors, while the shortened Mini Action receiver and bolt provide a compact profile and efficient bolt throw. The forged steel receiver, one-piece two-lug bolt, M16-style extractor and ejector, and tool-less bolt takedown deliver dependable operation. A black HTI synthetic pillar-bedded stock with a recoil pad supports consistent accuracy and comfortable handling. The rifle uses Howa’s H.A.C.T. two-stage trigger and a three-position manual safety.

Seems to be a nice...
Seems to be a nice rifle, I went with the synthetic version for durability, bolt operates smooth, only put 10 rounds through it and accuracy is good, wanted something a bit more accurate than standard ak versions and to stay with ammo I already have. I chose Howa over Ruger American for the 20" barrel. So far I'm happy.
