The Howa HCRL93102 HCR is a bolt-action 308 Winchester / 7.62 NATO rifle built on a 6061-T6 aluminum chassis with a free-float M-LOK forend and a fully adjustable LUTH-AR MBA-3 stock. The 24-inch heavy, free-floating barrel and two-stage H.A.C.T. trigger are tuned for consistent accuracy, while the three-position safety supports controlled operation. With the receiver drilled and tapped and factory sights omitted, the rifle is designed to run an optic from day one.

I bought this gun...
I bought this gun years ago when it was below $900 and the price to performance is outstanding. There just a few things that keep it from 5 stars. My rifle does not like cheap ammo or light ammo. With 175 gr Federal Sierra MK I was able to get .25 MOA. The bolt is not as smooth either. At times kinda 'sticky'. Maybe with more shooting it will smooth out. Regardless, it's a keeper for sure.
