I recently had a Howa rifle after years of hard use go sour and used the action as the basis for a 6.5 Creedmoor Precision rifle. The only supposed drawback to it would be the slower lock time (time between the trigger breaking and the firing pin falling) but I really cannot see how it has affected accuracy at all.
