I purchased this gun...
I purchased this gun about five months ago and have shot about 100 rounds through it as far out as 200 yards. This shoots very well and the trigger is very good for being stock. The gun does come as a kit and you have to install the new mag well/trigger guard yourself for the extra capacity mag. It was not hard to do and if you want to go back to the trap door style mag well you can swap in back in very easily. The gun and stock are very well made. The scope rings are a waste of time and should be swapped out for something else. I had the scope slip after 15-20 rounds fired a couple of times before I gave up on them. I even followed the specific tightening sequence that was provided with the rings. The optics are decent and it took me a bit to figure out the extra features of a target scope vs. a plain hunting one (read the instructions). I have fired sub MOA at 100 yards several times and plan on taking it out to much further distances with accuracy. Great gun for a great price and you get a scope, bipod, upgraded stock, and a high capacity mag. Buds shipped fast too.

One word Awesome....
One word Awesome. This has got to be one of the best package deals out there that has a heavy barrel. Shoots as good if not better than any Rem 700 or Savage rifles I have owned. For not knowing anything about the Nikko Sterling scope, I would compare them to a Nikon, very well made and durable. The detachable mag and bipod are a nice add feature that works really well. Out of all my buddies that have handled the rifle, they all love how the rubbery stock fits and feels. As far as shooting goes, I am grouping about 1.75-2 inch at a 100 meters. I have only shot less than 50 rounds so far and plan on taking it out to 200 meters. Now for the things I didnt like about the package which are quite minor. First is the flip-up lens protectors, they are really cheap. The last thing is that the 10 round detachable mag could have a heavier spring in it. Thats it!! If you are looking for a very accurate rifle with all the bells and whistles at an honest price (a real honest price), this is it. You would pay twice as much with any other manufacture. Happy Shooting!
