The Iver Johnson 1911A1 Carbine combines the familiar full-size Government 1911 design with a 16.125-inch rifle barrel and a detachable walnut stock. Chambered in .45 ACP, it features a forged CNC-machined slide, cast CNC-machined frame, hand-fitted components, standard GI sights, government-style controls, a manual thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety. Its black oxide finish, checkered walnut grips, and 35-inch overall length give this semi-automatic rifle a distinctive carbine configuration.
