The IWI ZION Z-15 Special Purpose Rifle is a modern semi-automatic 5.56 NATO rifle inspired by the MK12 platform and configured for precision-oriented range and field use. Its 18-inch 4150 chrome moly vanadium SOCOM-profile heavy barrel uses 5R right-hand rifling with a 1:8 twist, while the rifle-length direct-impingement gas system supports smooth, consistent operation. A 17-inch free-float handguard with an integrated ARCA rail provides a stable mounting surface for accessories and shooting supports. The adjustable B5 Systems stock and grip improve handling and fit, and the IWI 2-stage Precision Match Trigger provides a crisp trigger feel for deliberate shots. The rifle includes one 30-round Magpul PMAG.

This is an awesome...
This is an awesome rifle. The trigger is sooo good, hardly any take-up and crisp break. I haven't done any serious range work with it yet, just function check and a few rounds to sight it in. Wonderful fit and finish. No play between the receivers and the B5 stock is really comfortable. This is a fairly heavy rifle, with my Athelon scope on it, it weights about 12 lbs. Fine for me for a bench gun or short hikes, but not what I would use for long hikes or hunting.
