The Just Right Carbines JRC 40 Takedown Tube is a .40 S&W semi-automatic rifle built around a reliable straight blowback operating system. Its 17-inch lightweight barrel features a 9/16x24 right-hand threaded muzzle, while the free-floating quad-rail forend provides flexible accessory mounting. A Picatinny rail is machined into the receiver for mounting an optic. The rifle includes a six-position collapsible M4-style stock and an ambidextrous bolt configuration that can be set for right- or left-side ejection. Its 6061-T6 aluminum receiver, trigger housing, and magazine well receive a durable black hard-coat anodized finish. The JRC 40 accepts Glock or Glock-pattern magazines and provides a 15+1 capacity.
