The Kel-Tec R50 is a semi-automatic 5.7x28mm FN rifle built around the high-capacity P50 magazine system. Its 16.1-inch threaded barrel and side-folding stock provide a practical carbine configuration, while the folded stock rests alongside the grip for compact storage. Adjustable utility sights support immediate use, and more than 7 inches of Picatinny rail on top of the receiver provides ample space for a red dot, scope, or other compatible optic. A lower accessory rail supports lights and foregrips, while the AR-style charging handle and QD sling cup contribute to convenient handling and carry.

I purchased this as a cheap introduction to a PS 90 and 5.7 x 28. After owning it it's unusual a little bulky and kind of crazy. I don't see myself shooting it very much but I do see it becoming a possible rare collectors item because I don't think the sales will take off on this piece and will probably go the calico route. Either way it's an okay gun.
