Product Overview
The Kel-Tec RDB 20 is a compact bullpup rifle chambered for .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. Its downward-ejecting action routes spent brass through the stock behind the magazine well, making the rifle suitable for right- or left-handed operation without changing the ejection configuration. A smooth factory trigger, 1:7 twist barrel, and adjustable gas piston system support consistent performance across different loads and allow the operating system to be tuned when using a suppressor. The original RDB 20 configuration features a durable Zytel forend, a bottom Picatinny-style accessory rail, a top optic rail, and folding sights.

I got this rifle as a...
I got this rifle as a novelty, I just had to get a bull pup in my collection. So far I've enjoyed it immensely, only put about 2000 rounds of federal 62 grain FMJBT. Accuracy out to 100 yards is as expected; good. \r One great thing about this firearm is that it's fully ambidextrous. The downward ejecting is a godsend to lefthanded shooters and neighboring shooters. Comparing a 16 inch barrel AR-15, the 20 inch RDB is about 2 inches shorter (measured both firearms side by side extending the length of pull to be almost identical comparing to both firearms) the downside of the compactness is that it is heavy, my rifle almost weighs 12 pounds with my scope and scope rings and a magazine loaded.\r \r Have not shot the rifle suppressed yet but I can imagine the gas blow back is minimal due to the downward ejection system. \r \r The rifle is able to be taken apart easily, almost like an AR-15, a couple pins and you're in. \r \r Unlike the AR-15, the RDB does not have as many custom parts, but there isn't much you can change to make the rifle better. Maybe a trigger job, but among bull pups, the RDB has one of the best. The trigger is predictable, crisp, and the audible reset is well, audible even with double hearing protection on.\r \r I have used Just about every type of magazine and no problems with any.\r \r One worrying thing I have noticed is that when I eject an unfired round that has been in the chamber, it almost looks like a light primer strike when I inspect the round. Haven't researched it yet but it hasn't caused me a problem.

I purchased this rifle because i wanted a bull pup and thought it was unique. after firing several hundred rounds through it I am impressed to say the least. Even though it has a lot of polymer parts it feels very sturdy durable. I have had no malfunctions, It's surprisingly accurate and overall a enjoyable rifle to shoot.
