The KelTec SUB-2000 G2 is a folding .40 S&W pistol-caliber carbine designed for compact transport, convenient storage, and versatile field use. Its semi-automatic action uses Smith & Wesson M&P40 magazines and provides a 15+1 capacity. The 16.25-inch threaded barrel extends the practical range of handgun ammunition, while the adjustable fluorescent front sight and ghost ring rear sight support fast target acquisition. A three-position adjustable stock, textured grip, M-LOK-compatible forend, and top and bottom Picatinny rails make the carbine adaptable for hiking, ranch, varmint control, and defensive applications. When folded, it measures approximately 16.25 inches by 7 inches for easy carry and storage.

My EDC is a S&W 40 M&P...
My EDC is a S&W 40 M&P and was looking for a comparable PCC to allow usage of my double stack magazines. This was the only and perfect option. The size and weight make it easy to stuff in my large range bag or backpack. It has it's quirky attributes like not being able to fold with red dot mounted, heavy feeling charging handle, goofy rear sight, heavy trigger pull, and on and on, but there are plenty of aftermarket accessories out there to customize it to my liking. I've already added a quick release red dot (the foldable one by M-carbo is bulky and expensive and doesn't fit my need), a new recoiless charging handle, cheek pad, rail covers etc. I'll boresight the scope and take it to the range for a test drive. All in all it's a great looking gun and the process from Bud's was effortless and at a great deal!
