The Kimber 8400 Caprivi is a purpose-built .375 H&H bolt-action rifle designed for demanding big-game hunting. Its controlled-feed action uses a full-length Mauser claw extractor and a four-round internal magazine for reliable feeding. The 24-inch matte blue steel barrel features a custom sporter contour, match-grade chamber, six grooves, and a 1:12 right-hand twist. Three-leaf express sights provide a practical sighting system for close- to medium-range dangerous-game use. The AA French walnut stock combines a hand-rubbed oil finish, ebony forend tip, cheekpiece, steel grip cap, and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Pillar and glass bedding, double cross bolts, and a three-position Model 70-type safety complete the rifle's durable hunting configuration.
