The Kimber Mountain Ascent Peak is a lightweight bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .280 Ackley Improved. Its stainless steel 84L action and 24-inch match-grade barrel are finished in KimPro II and configured for dependable performance in demanding mountain environments. The H-S Precision stock combines fiberglass, carbon fiber, and Kevlar with a nearly full-length 7075 aluminum bedding block for a stable, lightweight platform. A fluted bolt body, hollow bolt knob, three-position Model 70-style safety, adjustable trigger, and one-inch recoil pad support practical field use. The rifle includes a sling, rifle case, and a 5/8x24 suppressor adapter. It uses a four-round internal magazine and does not include factory iron sights.
