The LMT Defense CQB16 Defender is a 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle built around LMT’s monolithic rail platform. It features a 16-inch chrome-lined, cryogenically treated chrome-moly vanadium barrel with a 1:7 twist, a low-profile gas block, direct gas impingement operation, and an A2 birdcage flash hider. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for compatible muzzle devices. A SOPMOD collapsible stock reduces the rifle to 33 inches in length, while the tactical front and adjustable rear sights provide a dependable iron-sight setup. The integrated rail supports the addition of a user-selected optic.
