The LMT Defense CQBPS16 CQB MRP Defender is a piston-operated semi-automatic rifle built around LMT's Monolithic Rail Platform. Its one-piece aluminum upper receiver integrates a rigid quad rail and supports rapid barrel changes without specialized tools. The 16-inch chrome-lined heavy barrel has a 1:7 twist, black Nitride finish, and an A2 birdcage flash hider. A six-position SOPMOD collapsible stock, adjustable detachable sights, and a Defender aluminum lower provide a practical setup for training, duty, and general-purpose rifle use.
