The LMT Defense LM308MWSE is a .308 Win semi-automatic rifle built around the Modular Weapon System platform. Its monolithic aluminum upper receiver integrates a rigid quad rail for accessory mounting and supports LMT's quick-change barrel system. The 16-inch chrome-lined heavy barrel features a 1:10 twist, black Nitride finish, and A2 birdcage flash hider. A direct-impingement operating system, two-stage trigger, adjustable detachable sights, and six-position SOPMOD stock provide a practical combination of handling and modularity. The rifle accepts 7.62x51 NATO ammunition and uses SR-25 pattern magazines.
