Product Overview
The LMT Defense LM8MWS is a .308 Win and 7.62x51 NATO semi-automatic rifle assembly built around the LM308MWS platform. It features a 16-inch cryogenically treated stainless steel barrel with a 1:11.25 twist rate, matte blackened finish, and 5/8x24 muzzle threading. Direct gas impingement operation, a standard bolt carrier group, tactical charging handle, low-profile gas block, and A2 birdcage compensator provide a practical configuration for range use and field applications. The rifle includes a SOPMOD buttstock, two-stage trigger, ambidextrous controls, tactical front and adjustable rear sights, one 20-round magazine, rail segments, sling hardware, and a torque wrench and driver. Overall length measures 35 inches with the stock collapsed and 38 inches with it extended.
