Description
Product Overview
The LMT Defense MLKMWS16PS-MARS is a piston-driven .308 Win rifle built around the MARS-H ambidextrous platform. Its 16-inch lightweight barrel balances maneuverability with the extended-range capability of the .308 Win and 7.62x51 NATO cartridges. The rifle features an M-LOK-compatible configuration, an integrated Picatinny top rail for optics, an A2 flash hider, a two-stage trigger, an LMT G2 grip, and an adjustable LMT SOPMOD stock. It accepts SR-25-pattern magazines and includes one 20-round PMAG.
Key Features
- Short-stroke piston operation helps keep propellant gases and fouling out of the receiver for a cleaner-running action.
- The 16-inch lightweight barrel provides a practical balance of handling and ballistic performance.
- MARS-H ambidextrous controls support efficient operation from either shoulder.
- Two-stage trigger offers a defined first stage and a predictable second-stage break.
- M-LOK compatibility and a full-length top rail provide flexible mounting options for accessories and optics.
- The adjustable SOPMOD stock and LMT G2 grip improve fit and control during extended use.
The LMT Defense MLKMWS16PS-MARS combines piston-driven reliability, ambidextrous controls, and a versatile .308 Win configuration in a compact rifle package.
