Crafted by Pedersoli to Lyman specifications, it is chambered in .45-70 Govt. and built around a premium 30-inch barrel with a 1:18-inch twist rate. Lyman tang and globe sights provide a period-correct aiming system, while the double set triggers support precise shot control. The rifle features a comfortable shotgun-style buttstock, checkering, an ebony forend tip, and period-style engraving on the receiver and lockplate. With a 47-inch overall length and a 9-pound weight, it is suited to traditional target shooting, hunting, and collecting.

First Sharps type...
First Sharps type rifle I have purchased, fit and finish is very nice on the gun, beautiful grained wood. Action is smooth, Lyman sites that are included with it are good for mid range out to around 200 yards. Need to be careful on the tear-down for the cleaning the action, the take-down lever comes very close to rubbing on the forend, I removed the forend (just two screws) makes it easier and saves you from scratching a new gun. Completely happy with the purchase
