I was a bit leary...
I was a bit leary about buying it sight unseen, but the transaction with Bud's was smooth and the gun safely arrived and it's sweet, no flaws. It's more accurate than I expected and the barrel does not foul easily. Trigger is a crisp clean 4.5 lbs. Overall VERY satisfied. Great gun. Bill in MD

I was disappointed...
I was disappointed with this rifle. They seem hard to find so when Bud's got one in stock I ordered it and Buds shipped it promptly, but I got to tell you, once I took it to the range this rifle jammed more times than not. I have owned two Marlin 1894 in the past, both in 44 mag and both worked great, so I expected this one to function flawlessly, gee wiz was I suprised. The thing looks great, but the action feels like two pieces of sandpaper being rubbed together and the thing jams constantly unless the muzzel is pointed towards the ground, so much for a quick follow up shot.
