The Marlin 1895 DS Dark Series lever action rifle in .45-70 Govt. is built for rugged handling and confident accuracy. This configuration features a 16.17-inch threaded barrel with a factory-installed match polished radial muzzle brake (11/16-24), an M-LOK aluminum forearm for accessory mounting, and a Picatinny rail for optics. Iron sight backup includes a fiber optic front sight with a tritium ring and an adjustable ghost ring rear sight, while the push-button cross-bolt manual safety and half-cock hammer provide traditional Marlin handling.

I put this rifle on my wish list because it was unavailable in the caliber I wanted. Finally, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I would have liked the cheek rest to be a little sturdier - but that can be rectified with an aftermarket purchase. My only complaint is that it took forever to find the correct adapter for the suppressor.

Love this gun. Def needed some oil though, needs some break in time kind of stiff especially at the loading port. Gun is very acurate love the look. Definately recommend this gun, one of my favorites.
