The Marlin 336C Carbine is a dependable lever-action hunting rifle chambered in .35 Remington. Its 20-inch Micro-Groove barrel delivers practical accuracy in a handy brush-country format, while the six-round tubular magazine provides useful field capacity. The rifle features an American black walnut stock and fore-end with cut checkering, a Mar-Shield finish, a fluted comb, rubber buttpad, swivel studs, and a deep blued receiver and barrel. A ramp front sight with brass bead and Wide-Scan hood pairs with an adjustable semi-Buckhorn folding rear sight. The solid-top receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, allowing the addition of a compatible optic.

Great rifle. Put a 4X...
Great rifle. Put a 4X Leupold scope on it and haven't looked back. Perfect fir deer here in Virginia. Have yet to use it in Black Bear but if the opportunity were to present itself I'm comfortable with the capability of the 35 Remington.\r Highly recommend Buds, there service is great.

I received rifle from...
I received rifle from Buds quickly, there's where it turns bad. I took the rifle home and loaded it and tried to chamber a round and the lever would not fully close regardless of the ammo I tried, I called Marlin and they had me ship it at my cost. To Marlins credit in only 3 weeks I had it back shipped free, it now works as designed, the enclosed note said adjust headspace. It does shoot very well, around an inch at 100 yards.
