The Marlin XT-22VR is a bolt action rimfire rifle configured for target practice and small-game hunting. Its 22-inch blued heavy varmint barrel and 1:16-inch twist are designed to provide consistent performance with .22 LR ammunition, while the Pro-Fire adjustable trigger supports a personalized trigger pull. The black synthetic beavertail stock features a palm swell, full pistol grip, stippled grip areas, and molded-in swivel studs for practical field handling. A 7-round detachable magazine is included, and the drilled-and-tapped receiver with scope bases makes mounting a compatible optic straightforward. This model is supplied without factory sights.

On receipt, i was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this low cost firearm. Scoped it, sighted in, and proceeded to assess the accuracy of this gun out of the box. With CCI Mini-mags, 1 inch, or less, groups at 50 yards were common. Completely satisfied with the transaction, and the product. I highly recommend Bud's.
