A: not even close the Mossberg 715T is a Mossberg 702 plinkster action encased in a plastic shell to make it look like a AR you can see it in this 715 breakdown diagram https://www.mcarbo.com/mossberg-715t-exploded-view.aspx

A: Yes Carlos, it is. The description says 'blue' but he rifle is a matte black finish.

A: Yes Carlos, it is. The description says 'blue' but he rifle is a matte black finish.

A: Bright magenta... No, blued steel, which is black.

A: Firearm is all colored plastic. Mossberg calls it blue. Barrel is matte black

A: Carlos, yes, it is a "Matte Black" Color. Most firearm are, Blue or Blueing is just an old terminology that is still in use today describing the finishing process and not the actual color.

A: Yes it is a Black color but the process that colors the gun is "Blueing "

A: I own this rifle and as everyone else is saying it is back although it may say "blued" the entire gun is black plastic except for the barrel which is "blued" which means black as well but the everything other than the barrel and is essentially plastic. When I purchased mine it came with iron sights as well as a red dot sight so make sure if you are looking at one that you keep an eye out for the one that comes with the red dot sight, great plinker!

A: sorry it can not be shipped to CA. the 25 round magazine makes it illegal in CA

A: Matthew, no Sir. This Rifle configuration has just about every CA no no as far as restrictions go. Details under "Rifles" here : https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf

A: The only restriction that makes it illegal in CA is the magazine as it is not a centerfire rifle most restrictions do not apply ". Rimfire caliber rifles are not considered "assault weapons" and can have features that centerfire rifles cannot. " https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf

A: Matthew - This is from the CA restrictions page: "All rimfire caliber rifles with magazine capacity of 10 rounds or fewer (e.g.: .22 LR, 17HMR, etc.)are permitted, excluding rifles with tubular magazines in lever-action firearms, which do not have magazine restrictions. Rimfire caliber riflesare not considered "assault weapons" and can have features that centerfire rifles cannot." Other than the magazine, this rimfire rifle should ship to CA with no problem. If you want to order it, call Buds and see if they will remove the magazine and ship it without a magazine. I was told by a Buds Customer Service Rep they will do that. It would then be your job to locate a suitable magazine. They are available on Flea Bay, as well as other sources.

A: Hi Jeff and welcome. Usually a 25 yard zero but you will need to fine tune for your specific ammunition. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

A: Hi William and welcome. Yes, the Mossberg & Sons 715T .22 LR rifle is generally legal to own in Maryland, provided it is shipped or sold with a compliant 10-round magazine rather than the 25-round version. Cheers and stay safe!

A: Legal for small game but illegal for big game. Illinois law requires center-fire cartridges

A: Good for small game but not large game.

A: Hi Terry and welcome. Mossberg & Sons 715T (.22 Long Rifle rimfire) is legal for hunting small game (such as squirrels) in Indiana, but is illegal for deer and big game hunting because Indiana law strictly requires centerfire cartridges for deer. Cheers and stay safe!
