A nice gun for the...
A nice gun for the price. The stock has a good feel, the bolt works nicely, and the recoil pad does a good job. Compared to the same caliber in the ATR rilfes, the 4x4's have less felt recoil. The trigger is not quite like an expensive gun, but breaks clean with a light pull. I'm kind of picky about triggers and am satisfied with this set up. Even though Mossberg does not recommend barrel break-in, I did use right at 25 rounds and did a break-in like I found at http://www.larrywillis.com/techtips.html and now it's shooting groups at a 100 yards that can be covered with a nickle. I'm satisfied and recommend a Mossberg 4x4.
