First of all this...
First of all this rifle is a 5.56 not 223 as marketed. 2nd I absolutely love it. I added an adjustable buttstock, new pistol grip, trigger guard (stock grip is also part of trigger guard) bipod, scope and custom camo paint job; I am ready for coyotes and wild boar. You cannot purchase a rifle set up like mine for less than 800. I am so happy with this purchase, and with Buds for being so quick to ship. The factory mag shipped with the rifle is from magpul, it's a metal 10 rounder that's been pinned for 5 rounds.

I finally made it to...
I finally made it to the range and it took 5 shots to sight in my scope. The rifle is a good shooter and is capable of good groups. However, I only tested some homegrown loads as I am out of factory. But, 1 1/2 in sight in groups on the first try do not surprise me. I like the rifle and recommend it if you want a nice AR 15/MSR style rifle. One problem arose, and it may have been a sloppy cleaning job getting rid of factory grease. It was a 30+/- degrees out and when I got home I saw the yellowish tint on the springs. I did not get all the factory grease out and the cold may have been part of the cause of getting a double strike after about 20 rounds. The rifle began to fire on release of the trigger so I shut down and went home. It appears to be a quick fix and does not need to be returned for service...at least so far because after flushing out the grease the rifle now works much better. One remedy was to clean out the factory grease. A second remedy is one that must be remembered by the shooter at least until the rifle has enough cycles to be broke in and smoothed by wear. If the trigger is released it MAY fire if the trigger is released slowly...casually. But, if the trigger is releases quickly, as in a fast firing mag dump, so far from my experience, the trigger will reset. I am not a mechanic or gunsmith, but all the video and discussions illustrate this is serious if not fixed, but is fixable without having to send it in to the factory. Mine is working now 100% when I release the trigger quickly. I am satisfied.

Excellent weapon,...
Excellent weapon, great feel and trigger. Shoots excellent. For the money its the best long range 223 out there. Its not tremendously heavy either. I have a Rock River varmint version 223 and it shoots great, but it is heavy. The mossberg shoots just as good and is a third of the price. Buy one! Now on to Buds. I did not like how long it took to ship. That is the first time it took so long to get to me. It took 13 days from Minnesota to Texas. That is way to long. I am used to 2-5 days from buds. Other than waiting 13 days to get it. I am totally happy
