The Mossberg MVP LC Light Chassis is a compact bolt-action rifle built around a fluted medium bull barrel and a rigid chassis system. Chambered for both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO, its 16.25-inch barrel features a 1-in-7 twist rate and a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for compatible accessories. The adjustable LBA trigger helps users refine pull characteristics, while the tactical bolt handle supports fast, positive manipulation. A receiver-mounted Picatinny rail provides a solid platform for adding an optic. The rifle includes a 10-round magazine and a black Magpul CTR stock with tan chassis components.

The Mossberg MVP Lite...
The Mossberg MVP Lite Chassis is really a great rifle. The chassis is really and MDT chassis with the Mossberg logo and name on it. I like that... it's original; not a DIY job. I ended up putting a Monstrum G3 6-24X50 scope on it and that makes it the best ever. Much better than a 4-16 scope. At 100 yards after zeroing in the scope; it's so easy to get a grouping within 1 - 1.5 inches dead center. The trigger pull on mine from the factory is at 2.5 lbs. Love it. Just right. \r \r The only complaint and not really a complaint is that the stock should be more than just a Magpul MOE style. For the price of the gun, it should have a more precision stock with it. Easy to change, but then an added expense. I haven't chosen the one I want yet. Still need to shoot more. But the cheek riser on the stock is too low. Should be adjustable up to 1.5 inches in my opinion.\r \r In all, it's a great rifle. I did polish the bolt for a more smooth action. I did add a $9.99 stock butt cover as I'm rather big and needed it for eye relief and comfort. I'm 6'3 and 225 lbs. and long arms. It s a great rifle. I recommend it...
