The Mossberg MVP Light Chassis is a versatile bolt-action rifle chambered for both .308 Winchester and 7.62x51 NATO ammunition. Its 18.5-inch fluted medium-bull barrel is threaded for compatible muzzle devices, while the 1:10 rifling twist supports a broad range of bullet weights. A Picatinny rail provides a solid foundation for adding an optic. The rifle combines a Magpul CTR stock and MOE pistol grip with Mossberg’s LBA trigger, spiral-fluted bolt, tactical bolt handle, and manual cross-bolt safety. It feeds from a 10-round magazine and has a compact 37.75-inch overall length.

Bought this to try and get out to a 1000 yards. Put a Vortex on it and I have no issues with ringing the bell at 5-700 yards. Not quite good enough to hit 1000 yet. It's a heavy SOB so I only take it to the range now. Had some luck during dear season but too heavy to be lugging around to some of the blinds in the dark morning hours. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the market.

This rifle is very accurate so far I have not shot it our past 500 yards, simply as that is the end of the range where I shoot. I have had very good accuracy with it and the recoil is light enough that I can keep a clear sight picture in the scope all the way to target impact. I always liked the looks of these rifles and when they were put on sale simply decided I needed one. The only thing I have put on the rifle from stock besides a scope is a muzzle brake, which I recommend. I had the muzzle brake on hand before I ordered the rifle and put it on the gun before I ever shot it. I'm sure it helps with the recoil and the overall shooting enjoyment. This rife is easy to shoot and keeps groups sub minute of angle without a problem.
