The Mossberg MVP Patrol is a compact bolt-action rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO. Its 16.25-inch fluted barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2 flash suppressor, while the spiral bolt supports smooth cycling and reliable operation. The rifle combines a fixed black synthetic stock with a blue and black finish, an adjustable Lightning Bolt Action LBA trigger, ghost ring sights, and an optics-ready receiver equipped with a Picatinny rail and Weaver-style base. It feeds from a 10-round magazine and includes one magazine.

Great rifle (556...
Great rifle (556 version) - put a 3x12 scope on it and sighted it in at 50 yds. SOLID!!! Consistently hit target within a inch of each other. - all on center ring - very little recoil with 55g FMJ. Bolt needs to be worked with a touch of gun oil - now as smooth as silk. It is a little front heavy - set up with a bipod. As always - Bud's was terrific - prompt delivery to my FFL.
