Well-pleased with...
Well-pleased with Bud's, as usual, and with this Mossberg Patriot rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. This is my first rifle with a scope so I was nervous about zeroing it in, but even that was fun. It didn't take long at all to get it zeroed. Love the feel, function and performance of the piece. I'm impressed by the rifle's quality from wooden stock to bolt and barrel. The magazine is easy to work with, no problems, but I wish it were metal. This plastic magazine feels and looks cheap, although it neatly accepted the rounds and fed them into the chamber without issue. Would like to find a few more mags to purchase but they are difficult to find, it seems and Mossberg hasn't been much help. Bolt is stiff but that's to be expected. I'm sure it will smooth out with use. I like the placement of the safety. Comes ready for a sling and I quickly attached a nice leather one. Bud's was once again a true pro. I've been a customer for years. I paid with electronic check and it takes a few more days for payment to clear, and Bud's kept me informed every step of the way. Nicely done.

This rifle is amazing...
This rifle is amazing out of the box. The scope just needed some minor windage adjustments to be on target. The bolt was smooth and the magazine worked fine. The wood on the rifle is very high quality and I really liked the Vortex Crossfire Scope. The adjustable trigger is nice, but it is on the lightest setting from the factory. Overall, amazing rifle for the price. Lots of fun to shoot.

Nice rifle, wood is good, has a couple plastic pieces. It has adjustable trigger tension which I haven't messed with, only 1 mag (plastic), V scope is pretty nice.
