The North Star Arms NS15 is a semi-automatic AR-15-pattern rifle chambered for both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington. It combines a 16-inch Ballistic Advantage QPQ-coated HBAR with a mid-length gas system, a 1:8 right-hand twist, and a 15-inch M-LOK rail. A Hogue adjustable stock, Hogue grip and trigger guard, and ALG Defense Mil-Spec trigger provide a practical foundation for range use and customization. The anodized aluminum receiver is finished in black and paired with an A2 flash hider. The rifle measures 33 inches with the stock collapsed and 36 inches extended, weighs 6 pounds 5 ounces, and includes one 30-round magazine.

Overall it is a nice...
Overall it is a nice AR out of the box. Came with slightly better than milspec trigger out of the box, Good quality barrel, full auto rated black nitride coated BCG and pretty decent furniture. But for the price point in the same general area as Sig and some other companies I think the gun could use a few more options out of the box like some flip up sights or a better fire control group. Also not a big fan of the hogue hand grip, it's very small and doesn't have good texture for grip. Also came with a cheap metal mag. Overall it's a good AR out of the box. With just a few add-ons and part replacements it can be a great AR.
