Product Overview
The Nosler M48 Mountain Carbon is a lightweight bolt action hunting rifle designed for demanding backcountry hunts. Its Nosler Model 48 Custom Action is paired with a 24-inch carbon fiber wrapped match grade barrel featuring an enhanced Sendero contour, 1:9-inch twist, and 5/8x24 TPI threaded muzzle. A carbon fiber aramid reinforced stock with glass and aluminum pillar bedding provides a stable, weather-resistant shooting platform while keeping total weight to 6 pounds. The rifle uses a three-round hinged aluminum floorplate magazine and includes a crisp Timney precision trigger with a two-position manual safety. The receiver is drilled and tapped to accept common Remington 700 two-piece scope bases.
