The Olympic Arms K30R 7.62x39mm AR-15 carbine is a semi-automatic rifle built on a true AR-15 pattern. It features a 16 in 416 stainless steel button-rifled barrel, a picatinny flat-top upper, and a Picatinny quad-rail handguard for flexible accessory mounting. A 6-position M4-style collapsible stock and 5/8x24 threaded muzzle provide a compact, configurable setup for optic-based shooting.

This is agreat looking...
This is agreat looking tight fitting gun. I was very pleased with it overall. They do say upfront not to use steel cased ammo so I bought some winchester fmj and it shot wonderfully. I am sure the steel case would work fine but will cause more wear. I own several ar platform rifles and I like this one the best!

Not too bad rifle for...
Not too bad rifle for the price. The handguards are a little crude and it has the worst trigger of any AR that I have ever handled. Shoots OK though. No failures in 300 rounds so far, from the cheapest russian ammo to the quality American made stuff. I think this will lend itself to being a good project gun. Shoots OK out of the box, just a little rough around the edges.
