The Olympic Arms K30R16SST is a semi-automatic AR-15 carbine chambered in 7.62x39mm. It features a 16-inch 416R stainless steel button-rifled barrel with a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle, an A2 flash hider, and a stainless steel thread protector. The rifle uses 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with a black hard anodized finish, a flat-top Picatinny upper receiver, a Firsh quad-rail Picatinny handguard, and a Picatinny gas block. A 6-position M4-style collapsible stock and Ergo Sure-Grip pistol grip provide adaptable handling, while the optic-ready configuration allows the user to select a compatible aiming optic.

This is agreat looking...
This is agreat looking tight fitting gun. I was very pleased with it overall. They do say upfront not to use steel cased ammo so I bought some winchester fmj and it shot wonderfully. I am sure the steel case would work fine but will cause more wear. I own several ar platform rifles and I like this one the best!

Not too bad rifle for...
Not too bad rifle for the price. The handguards are a little crude and it has the worst trigger of any AR that I have ever handled. Shoots OK though. No failures in 300 rounds so far, from the cheapest russian ammo to the quality American made stuff. I think this will lend itself to being a good project gun. Shoots OK out of the box, just a little rough around the edges.
