The Palmetto State Armory Freedom Rifle M4 is a semiautomatic 5.56 NATO rifle built on a forged 7075-T6 aluminum AR-15 platform. Its 16-inch chrome moly steel barrel features a 1:7 twist and is paired with an F-marked, taper-pinned front sight base, M4 feed ramps, and an A2 flash hider. The rifle includes a chrome-lined full-auto-profile bolt carrier with a Carpenter 158 bolt, a six-position adjustable stock, a mil-spec diameter buffer tube, forward assist, dust cover, and a combat trigger. The black Type III hardcoat anodized receivers provide a durable service-oriented finish, while the receiver rail supports installation of a rear sight or optic.
