I purchased this POF-308 a couple of months ago and it's awesome! I would recommend it to anyone! It's very easy to buy from bud's gun shop and you choose the FFL (Fire arms License Dealer) to be shipped to in your State! Don't forget you pay tax on it at the FFL when you go to pick it up and of course a small transfer fee! I only use patches mostly in cleaning and try to stay away from using abrasive metal tube brushes in order to keep the breaking in accurate. NP3 coating is awesome in keeping components clean. The gas tube may need metal brush cleaning, but that's it, I use patches on everything else and wipe down. I oil lightly the internal moving parts (bolt carrier internal rail & trigger mechanism). Great gun, great price and lasts for years to come! Bud's Guns prices are the best!

This thing is an absolute beast! I built it with a Vortex scope as it did not come with iron sights, and a La Rue bi-pod. Mounted everything on the rails that come on the weapon, and I must say that I'm impressed. Once I got everything dialed in, the weapon was a rock solid as I was. put 15 rounds downrange in rapid fire, and the bolt was cool to the touch. The muzzle break will not win you any friends on the range as it will rattle those on the targets next to you unless they happen to like having their fillings rattled loose. I was using bulk ammo, and I was quite pleased with the groups it was shooting. It can weigh a bit though especially with a full magazine, and all the bling I put on mine, but it can help keep you stable when you shoot. The NP3 coating is amazing as well. Gives the rifle a gold look. Very impressive weapon. DO IT!
