Product Overview
The Plinker Tactical M-4 Rifle is an AR-pattern semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in .22 LR. It combines a 7075-T6 aluminum alloy lower receiver with a machined 7075-T6 upper receiver and an anodized Picatinny-style rail system for compatible accessories. Its free-floated 16.25-inch barrel uses a 1:16 twist and an integrated feed ramp, while the proprietary bolt hold-open system and rim-polished bolt and carrier support reliable operation. The rifle includes a quick-adjustment latch system, a load assist tool, and one polymer 25-round magazine.

It's a nice rifle, all...
It's a nice rifle, all metal as advertised. The lower is a standard AR15 lower butthe buffer tube is empty. A buffer and a spring should add a little more weight to it, despite they will have no use in a .22LR, but would make the lower immediately usable with a 5.56 upper. The upper is proprietary, it's profile is different from a standard AR15 upper. The mag release lever is recessed and a BAD lever can't be installed. The quad rail came lose and had to be tightened. If you are looking for a 100% realistic AR15 upper I believe a CMMG will be a better but more expensive option. The rifle comes with one proprietary magazine, but the S&W M&P 15-22 magazines will work if a better-mag adapter is installed. Plinker Tactical has 35 round M&P 15-22 magazines that I intend to use this way. The box includes minumal documentation, and a set of quad rail covers, this is a nice detail.
