The Primary Weapons Systems MK214 is a semi-automatic 7.62x51 NATO rifle designed for intermediate-range performance and designated marksman applications. Its long-stroke piston operating system provides reliable cycling while reducing fouling in the receiver. The stainless steel barrel receives an Isonite QPQ treatment for durability and uses a 1:10 twist rate. A pinned FSC30 muzzle device brings the described configuration to a legal overall barrel measurement of 16.1 inches. The proprietary modular handguard accepts Picatinny rail-mounted sights, optics, lights, and laser devices without requiring barrel removal for rail changes. Its collapsible synthetic stock allows the rifle to be configured for different users and storage requirements.
