The Primary Weapons Systems UXR Elite is a modular semiautomatic rifle chambered for .308 Win and 7.62x51 NATO. Its serialized 7075 aluminum receiver works with the proprietary XCHANGE system, allowing the barrel, bolt head, and magazine well to be exchanged for alternate configurations. A modified long-stroke piston system with three gas settings and a bore-evacuation chamber helps manage recoil, fouling, and gas when shooting suppressed or during high-volume fire. The rifle includes a folding six-position adjustable stock, ambidextrous controls, a tool-less replaceable M-LOK handguard, and an 18-inch STANAG top rail for optics and accessories. The 16-inch threaded barrel accepts standard muzzle devices and suppressors.
