The Proof Research Elevation MTR 2.0 is a lightweight mountain rifle designed for precision shooting and hunting. It combines a PROOF carbon fiber-wrapped, match-grade Sendero barrel with a lightweight carbon fiber stock and a Zermatt Arms Origin action. A TriggerTech trigger provides a crisp, consistent release, while the detachable box magazine supports practical field use. The 22-inch barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and includes a thread protector, and the pinned single-piece rail is ready for scope installation. Each rifle is test fired and backed by a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee.

Super lightweight and...
Super lightweight and great value for price. Mine also shipped with a Magpul AICS magazine not the steel one pictured, so that was a bonus. The carbon fiber stock has a light sandpapery texture that's easy to grip. I set it up with a Nightforce NX8 Mil-XT scope & Magpul bipod and shot it at 100/200/300 yds first day. The barrel didn't get too hot to touch even though it was 90F in the shade. Incredibly accurate with bulk 140grn Winchester ammo (sub-MOA to 1MOA). Can't wait to take it out to 1000yds next month. An adjustable cheek riser & flush cups instead of swivel studs would've been nice but I get that this gun is entry level for the Proof Research lineup. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier with it!
