The Remington Model 700 5-R Gen 2 is a precision-oriented bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Its cold hammer-forged, heavy fluted barrel uses 5-R rifling and a 1:8-inch twist rate to support consistent accuracy. The stainless steel Model 700 action features the proven three-rings-of-steel receiver design, while the externally adjustable X-Mark Pro trigger allows the shooter to tailor trigger pull settings. A tactical bolt knob facilitates smooth manipulation, and the barrel and action receive protective Cerakote treatment for enhanced resistance to wear and the elements. The H.S. Precision synthetic stock features black coloring with green webbing, full-length aluminum bedding blocks, and a dual front swivel stud system for stable support and sling configuration.
