Brand new rife...
Brand new rife sighting in on bench. Factory ammo, Ppu and sieller and bellot 174 grn bullets. Ppu no problem shot two rounds. Switched to seller and bellot. Third round was sticky bolt lift, fourth was same. Removed bolt and cleaned. Fifth round bolt locked up. Had to use rubber mallet to open bolt. Brass stuck in chamber. Contacted buds and they helped with a claim. Contacted seller and bellot rep and sent pics. Its been a week and haven't heard from anybody. I'm 67 years old and still have a model 700 I bought in 1970. I have been hunting and shooting my whole life are the new remingtons junk now

I wanted to write my first review. I have ordered firearms before from buds and never was disappointed. I thought the firearm was coming with a scope, but it didn't. However, after reviewing my order, It didn't say. I am overall very pleased with the firearm. The Remington 700 adlhas blueing interrupted on the bolt to make it look like jeweling. A nice touch. The old 700 adl was just blued. The matt finish was black and wear resistant. I truly enjoy the 1 in 8 twist with the 26 inch barrel. The gun has a longer throat ( freebore)which can take advantage of the faster twist rate. The chamber is nice and tight. I have gotten 4 shot 3 inch groups at 200 meters with my reloads with 154 Hornady flatbase factory seconds. Remington has come a long way and I would recommend this rifle for target/ hunting rifle. At half the cost of a 700 bdl, it is worth every penny. I am very glad to see Remington bringing the 7mm mag back to the the forefront.
