If you want a...
If you want a lightweight rifle…. This is the one! With a pencil stainless barrel, B&C stock and a .308 short action, this firearm is a true feather weight. Solid reliable Remington bolt action. Shoots great groups at the bench once you figure out the proper hold routine.it's so light, you literally need to grab a commanding hold of the stock and provide downward force to get impressive groups. A leupold VX 3 in 3x9 works well for a mid/close range Western Oregon black tail gun.

Lightweight and groups...
Lightweight and groups great. This does has a pencil barrel on it and will shoot sub MOA but after 5 consecutive shots the barrel needs to cool. Shoot groups will start to open up a little if the barrel is hot.

I bought mine from...
I bought mine from Buds through Gunbroker. Perfect deal with no issues. Everything functioned as it should. The rifle shoots very well and is a great lightweight deer rifle in .308 Win. I replaced the factory trigger with a Timney trigger factory set to 3 pounds even and, it got just a bit better. But the factory x-mark pro trigger worked fine for me as well. The rifle did need a good cleaning out of the box, but I always do that with a new rifle before mounting a scope or shooting it anyway, so that's just not a big issue to me.
