Product Overview
The Remington 700 SPS Tracking Point 20/20 Tactical combines the proven Model 700 bolt-action platform with the factory-mounted Remington 20/20 Tracking Point Digital Optics System. Its 26-inch heavy barrel is paired with a Bell & Carlson M40 synthetic stock that is pillar bedded for a stable shooting platform. The rifle uses an X-Mark Pro externally adjustable trigger and a four-round hinged floorplate magazine. The 3x21 digital optic integrates a laser rangefinder, ballistic calculator, heads-up display, video recorder, still camera, and Wi-Fi server. The system can account for bullet drop, rifle inclination and cant, wind drift, air density, spin drift, Magnus Effect drift, Coriolis Effect, and target movement. This factory hand-selected rifle is shipped zeroed with the digital optic mounted and includes a fitted wheeled SKB case, charging equipment, rechargeable batteries, eyeshade, documentation, and 300 rounds of ammunition.

This is actually a pretty fun gun to shoot. Don't let the optics fool you, you still need to practice fundamentals for long ranges. Bud's gave me a great price too!

Buds did a bang-up job...
Buds did a bang-up job of getting the rifle out on time. The product was exactly as stated except that the 300 rounds of ammo were not in the box. No worries, Buds solved that mystery in less then an hour and had it on the way. Out on the range the Rem 700 and D2020 did exactly what they said. I was hitting an 8 inch steel at 350 yards 6 out of 10 rounds. The 4 'misses' were so close that they would still have been in the 'kill zone'! The winds were a bit squirrelly and the shooter is far from perfect so I would call those near misses an operator error. The D2020 is great especially for an aging pair of eyes -- which was the big draw for me. An electronic scope can be focused for my eyes easily to compensate for good ole presbyopia. I can see the target and reticle clear as when I was 18! The Rem 700 LR is a bit heavy with a little of that being from the scope but, all in all, this was an exceptional deal for an excellent rifle.
