I was really hesitant...
I was really hesitant to purchase a Remington 700 after hearing all of the horror stories about quality going downhill. However, I purchase this rifle after learning that they were out of production and none of the other online vendors had any left in stock, and Buds was down to less than 5. Well, I'm really happy with the purchase. No jams so far and, action is smoother than my 308 both action from another manufacturer. Overall happy with it. Maybe I got lucky, maybe Remington didn't go as far downhill as the forums suggest? Not sure, and don't care. Just happy that I have a new shooter.

Never met a Remington...
Never met a Remington 700 I didn't like, and this weapon is no exception. The only thing I changed was from the factory trigger to a timney 510, because of personal preference.
