First off, Bud's price...
First off, Bud's price and shipping was good, however , I made a mistake buying this gun. Won't fire semi-auto, which it is supposed to do. Shells hang up and won't eject. Bought an after market magazine and same problem. Tried a number of different shells, same problem. Contacted Remington and their response was ship it in. I have friends and read stories of guns being shipped in for repair and after weeks comes back same way. I took the gun to a gunsmith and he thought the problem is the magazine latch. Bought a new latch and installed it but haven't tried it again yet. Very disappointed. I have a Browning shorttrac ,243 cal. and it fired great right out of the box.

I purchased my...
I purchased my Remington 750 30-06 Syn March 2011 from Buds Gun Shop and my FFL dealer called me when he received it. I went out to the range to test fire the rifle and jammed on me on my first round. I was shooting factory 150g FMJ ammo in te rifle. I was having problem with the magzine removing it from the rifle. I called the Remington Center for repair and was told to bring my rifle in to the shop. The gunsmith Richard worked on the rifle and removed the excess metal around the breech and polished the feed ramp and also worked on the sluggish bolt. He also worked on the 3 magazine that was jamming in rifle and got that working real smooth now. The gunsmith said all this work should have been done at the factory before shipping it to retailer for sale. I guess Remington quality check and test firing is going bad. I had owned a Remington 700 30-06 bolt action back in the 1970 and it was a great rifle. I purchased a Marlin 336W 30-30 and this is a great rifle for my Mt area hunting blacktail deer. I will purchase more rifles from Buds Gun Shop in my future buys. Thanks guys!
