Just picked the...
Just picked the Remington 783 up from my local FFL this morning and can't say enough good things about the quality of this gun. The stock is the only down fall but it's not bad as some other budget rides in this price range. But for a short run and gun hunting gun I can live with the stock and not worry about scratching it up. The trigger is great, no creep and it breaks clean. I did adjust mine to the lowest setting and it's just right. I picked up a Bushnell Legend 6-18X50 AO Optic for this gun and took it to the range. Fired two shots at 25 yards to get on paper then moved out to 100. The 3rd, 4th and 5th shot provided a 1in 3 shot group. Let it cool for about 10 minutes and fired the next 3 shot group which produced a 0.80in group. To say I'm shocked with the accuracy would be a lie because my 450 Bushmaster in the same gun clover leafs them at 100 yards as well. Was shooting the Hornady Black 168gr A-Max.

Have yet to shoot it, seems well built the stock is a little cheap but boyds sells great custom stocks for it so that was no problem. Buds did great as usual.
