Beautiful rifle and...
Beautiful rifle and appears to be well made. Also appears to be accurate. Where I had an issue with this rifle was the first time I tried to load a round. Could not get a round to chamber, even trying three different brands of 300 win. mag. Took a chamber brush, short cleaning rod, and my hand drill and ran the chamber brush through the chamber. That seemed to help, but not 100%. Loading a round into the chamber and ejecting a spent round, it still appear to drag. Would not want to face a dangerous game animal that was charging, because it takes too long to load and unload. Guess, I'll stick to squirrels and rabbits with this gun, just to be safe.This is my first remington and will probably be my last. I'll stick to my winchesters, marlins, and rugers for now. I've never had one of those brands ever demonstrate a problem like this.
